Ash and Sarah are opening up their gong studio on August Bank Holiday, to welcome Practitioners, Sound Artists and the general public alike to come experience Awen Sounds gongs in the flesh.
You are welcome to bring your favourite mallets and flumies to try the gongs, though there will be small selection to use on the day. Similarly if you're thinking of elevating your current sound practitioner setup, feel free to bring along an instrument or recording to see how our gongs might work alongside your existing gear.
We will be open from 10am, and available for drop-in visits until 2pm - no booking necessary, though you are welcome to contact us anytime if you feel the need!
We were invited by Welsh performer and druid Carys Eleri & renowned Harpist Catrin Finch to host three gong baths at the National Eisteddfod, as part of their amazing offering at the Magic Teapot on the Maes this year. Their pioneering vision for Spirituality and Wellness as part of the culture of the Eisteddfod was very well received, and we are privileged to have facilitated the first ever gong baths at the Eisteddfod in its entire history. See you next year, perhaps!
Awen Sounds were facilitators of sound healing at Coed Hills back in June 2026, bringing grounding gong baths to the offerings available at Awen Calls's Albion weekend - and what a lovely weekend it was!
Celtic spirituality and connection was very much alive through the spoken word, dance and song, and an Awen Sounds soundscape held beautiful space for some of the sacred ceremonies of the weekend.
We'd go back in a heartbeat!
