All of our gongs are made of a Stainless Steel alloy, specially chosen for its rust-proof nature and good sound and firing qualities.
With playing, your gongs will pick up oils from your hands, and minor scuffs or scratches from your mallets, flumies and general handling. We recommend that you regularly clean the surface with a microfibre cloth and isopropyl alcohol, to remove oils and marks that may set into stains over time, and clean and rejuvenate the surface.
DO NOT oil or wax the surface of your gong; the surface colouring will be adversely affected by the addition of oils or waxes, and the vibrant colours will be lost.
We also recommend buying a padded gong bag to protect the gong during transit and when in storage, in addition to its dust bag. We stock and recommend Meinl gong bags, which can be found in the gong accessories section of our online shop.
Gentle and frequent care will keep your gong looking great, and prevention is better than cure, as they say.
We provide a dust bag for your gong, but if you're transporting your gong from location to location we recommend a padded bag for protection.
We believe that the best quality sounds are produced with quality tools, and as so we stock Meinl mallets and flumies of various sizes in our online store. We find these to be of good quality, with mid-range affordability.
We also personally like Oli Hess mallets, and Bear Love flumies, and recommend that you try them if you can.
Whilst we continue to build our website, we don't currently have automated shipping options for international orders. If you are outside of the United Kingdom and wish to buy a gong or gong accessories, please contact us for a bespoke shipping quote before buying through the online shop.
Once the order is placed in the store and payment accepted, we aim to get the gong packaged and delivered to you within 7 working days.
What is your refund policy?
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to return an item. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for returns made after this period, but we can offer an exchange.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable, including items purchased during a Free Shipping offer. In the latter case, the cost of original shipping and handling will be deducted from your refund amount.
If the return is due to an error on our part, we will pay for return shipping of the gong back to our studio. However if you're returning an item because it didn't meet your expectations, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
RETURNS PROCESS
Contact us to notify us of your impending return. Once we receive the item, and have thoroughly inspected it, we will either notify you via email of any issues that have arisen, or immediately process your refund to the original method of payment, where the credit should be applied within a few business days.
